2) make sure you are available for at least one of the shifts before completing the online form below. Completed forms for individuals who cannot fill the current openings will not be followed up on. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

The Haven Volunteers must…
• Be at least 16 years of age. If you are younger than 16 years of age, there are other ways to help animals. Give us a call at 251-929-7402 for more information.
• Attend The Haven’s Volunteer Open House. These are conducted at The Haven.
• Volunteer 2 to 4 hours a week (excludes annual fundraising events like Mystic Mutts of Revelry).
• Attend any required volunteer orientations for training.
• Understand and fulfill all responsibilities of their role independently.
• Read and comprehend The Haven’s policies and procedures as well as follow the agency’s rules and guidelines.
• Be able to communicate clearly and professionally with staff, customers, vendors, and supporters.
• Volunteers are required to pay $10 for their t-shirt which must be worn while volunteering.
• Have and maintain positive attitude.
NOTE: By you completing the form below, you are stating that you are interested in volunteering and are able to commit to at least one recurring shift in one or more of the volunteer openings mentioned above. You agree to have the time to attend any training as needed. This form is not a formal volunteer application. Individuals will be contacted for interviews as resources are available. Thank you.
