Mark your calendars now for October 27. The Haven No Kill Animal Shelter’s Resale Shop, a boutique thrift store is celebrating its newly expanded and renovated shop with an Open House. The shop has something for everyone, including gently used housewares, home décor, art, books, furniture, jewelry and vintage, and collectibles.

The Resale Boutique was created in 2002 to…

support the mission of The Haven and its life-saving programs. Together with staff, volunteers and donors, the shop has raised more than $200,000 since its opening. All proceeds go towards caring for the animals at the Haven and efforts to get them adopted into “furrever” homes.

Recently the resale shop has expanded its space within its historic cottage at 327 Morphy Ave in downtown Fairhope, offering room for more merchandise and larger pieces of furniture. If you’ve been to the shop in the past, you will be pleasantly surprised. If you haven’t been before, come find out what you’ve been missing. The Open House will feature discounts, door prizes and lots more.

The Open House on October 27 will run from 10AM to 2PM.

The resale shop welcomes item donations year-round. All donations are tax deductible. Donated items may be brought to the shop Tuesday through Fridays from 10 to 4.

The Haven No Kill Animal Shelter, a 501c3 organization, works to blend pets and people into happy “Furrever” families. The life-saving efforts of this nonprofit no-kill organization have provided happy and healthy futures for nearly 10,000 animals since its inception. The animal shelter also works with like-minded organizations and city animal control shelters to promote a no-kill environment in Baldwin County.
