Project S.A.F.E. (Saving Animals From Euthanasia)
Through Project S.A.F.E., The Haven partners with Baldwin County shelters to rescue at-risk, unclaimed pets and give them a second chance. Once transferred to The Haven, each pet is evaluated and receives the care they need to become adoption-ready. Your gift helps cover food, medical care, and shelter until they find a loving home.
Project PAWS (Pet Alteration and Wellness Services)
Project PAWS is a low-cost spay/neuter and wellness initiative focused on reducing pet overpopulation and keeping pets healthy and at home. Your donation supports sterilization surgeries, vaccinations, and basic preventive care for pets in underserved communities.
Fix’n Ferals (TNR Program)
Fix’n Ferals is The Haven’s Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program, helping to humanely manage and reduce the community cat population. Your donation covers spay/neuter surgeries, vaccines, and supplies needed to trap, alter, and return feral cats to their colonies—improving lives and preventing unwanted litters.
Tribute Gift
Honor a special person or pet with a life-saving tribute gift. Whether in memory or celebration, The Haven will mail a notecard to your honoree to let them know a generous gift was made in their name.
Queenie’s Fund
Queenie’s Fund provides emergency and life-saving medical treatment to injured or ill pets in our care. Many of these animals—like dogs suffering from heartworms—require extensive treatment costing $350–$800 or more. Your support gives them a fighting chance at recovery and adoption.
Vehicle Donations
Donating your car, truck, boat, trailer, or RV helps save lives. Most vehicles can be picked up within 24–72 hours at no cost to you, and your donation is tax-deductible.
