The Haven No-kill Animal Shelter and Best Friends Animal Society, a leading animal welfare organization working to save the lives of cats and dogs in America’s shelters by 2025, are teaming up for a Holiday adoption extravaganza from December 9 – 10. The collaborative event encourages people to open up their homes to adoptable animals by choosing to adopt, not buy, their next pet.
Our lifesaving team is excited to join forces with our partner, Best Friends Animal Society, to provide waived adoption fees so our precious pets can be adopted into loving homes,” said Michael Graham, Executive Director for the nonprofit shelter.
The Haven, located at 559 S Section St in Fairhope, will be open at this Friday, December 9, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Saturday, December 10, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Our extended hours are an effort to offer more time for everyone in the community to come to our facility and adopt their next pet. We ask potential adopters to click on the image of the pet they wish to adopt to complete the online adoption application – see below. The same adoption application review process applies.
