ANNOUNCE “HOME FOR THE PAWLIDAYZ” PET ADOPTIONS
For the second year, a generous donor will sponsor free pet adoptions
from Black Friday through Cyber Monday
Fairhope, AL – Best Friends Animal Society is pleased to announce that a generous corporate donor will again sponsor pet adoptions this holiday season, helping homeless animals right here in our community. Beginning on Black Friday and continuing through Cyber Monday, adopters will have the opportunity to bring home a dog or cat for free through the Pawlidayz initiative. The company has pledged to donate a total of $1.25 million to Best Friends Animal Society.
Every day across the United States, 9,000 animals are euthanized simply because they don’t have a place to call home. It is Best Friends’ goal to see 9,000 dogs and cats adopted between Friday, November 25 and Monday, November 28. During one of the busiest shopping times of the year, Best Friends and The Haven, Baldwin County’s no-kill animal shelter, encourage potential adopters to spread holiday cheer and take the time to make a difference in the life of an animal by providing a dog or cat with a forever home. More than 115 shelters, rescues and humane organizations across the United States, including The Haven, will participate in the initiative, allowing adopters nationwide the opportunity to save a furry friend this holiday season. The Haven is an active partner in Best Friends No More Homeless Pets® Network which offers help and support to animal rescue groups that save lives in their communities.

“Our dedicated team is excited to be able to team up with our friends at Best Friends Animal Society to help even more homeless pets find loving homes. We have some of the cutest and most affectionate cats, kittens, dogs and puppies who are wishing to have a loving home and there is no better time than now,” said Michael Graham, executive director of The Haven.
