The AuctionforPaws.com online auction of artwork to benefit The Haven for Animals is in full swing. Bids are coming in daily, as excitement builds for the auction.

However, the Eastern Shore Art Center, in Fairhope, has canceled their participation in the Friday Art Walk, this Friday, August 6, 2021, because of Covid concerns. Therefore, the kickoff of The Haven’s fundraiser and art show at the art center will not be held.

The gallery will continue to be open during normal visiting hours, Tuesdays through Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The public is welcome to visit the very special exhibit of the art, featured in the online auction, during those times.

Please bid on auction items at Artists4Paws.com. The art was created and donated by local professional, amateur, and student artists. The auction will continue through September 3rd, 2021, the date for the next Fairhope Art Walk.

Artists4Paws.com is a benefit for The Haven, which has rescued and adopted out nearly 10,500 homeless animals, since 2000. Funds are urgently needed for The Haven to continue its life-saving work. To donate to The Haven directly, please visit the website: havenforanimals.org.

The Haven Adoption Guarantee Shelter’s website is https://www.havenforanimals.org. Many dogs and cats are available for adoption through the website, as well as numerous kittens and other cats and dogs not listed. People to adopt, foster, and donate are urgently needed, as the shelter is more than full. In addition to purchasing art work, you may quickly contribute on the Haven’s website with a click of a button, or send your donations to The Haven, P. O. Box 1063, Fairhope, AL 36533.
